- Import from SQL Script (Oracle only) – Now you can load a model from SQL script using the Reverse Engineering Wizard. If a typo or unknown command is found in the SQL script, the Reverse Engineering Wizard will highlight the error to bring it to the your attention.
- Enhanced Live Reverse Engineering from SQL Script (Oracle only) – You can also use the Live Reverse Engineering feature in Toad Data Modeler 3.2 to import from SQL Script. You would simply establish a connection with the SQL file, and then load not only entities, views and synonyms, but also types, functions, procedures, materialized views, and more.
- SQL code generation by SCHEMA/USER – You can now select ‘User’ or ‘Schema’ and generate SQL script for objects with the selected User or Schema.
- Simplified model conversion and merge – This enhancement enables you to convert a model to a model of another database system or merge two models faster than ever before.
- New unicode HTML/RTF report capability
- Additional GUI and performance enhancements
